Affiliate disclosure

How we make money

We provide cloud-provider comparisons, educational content, and free cost tools. We earn revenue through two disclosed channels: Affiliate commissions and Sponsored placements. Both allow us to keep the site free for all visitors. The prices we show and the way offerings are ranked are produced by our internal methodology and are never affected by these arrangements.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a specially tagged URL that tells a cloud provider you arrived through DeployCue. If you sign up with the provider after following one of these links, the provider may pay us a referral commission. This is standard practice across comparison sites and review publications.

Affiliate links are used on provider pages, comparison tables, category hubs, and quiz result pages.

No cost to you

Signing up through an affiliate link never adds anything to your bill. Your pricing, plan terms, and account conditions are identical whether you reach the provider through our link, a different referral source, or directly.

Rankings and prices are not for sale

An affiliate relationship never buys a better ranking or a lower displayed price. The prices we show are collected and normalized the same way for every provider, and rankings are based on that data. The only thing a provider can pay for is a clearly labelled sponsored placement, which is always visually distinct from organic results.

Sponsored placements and advertising

We sell clearly labelled advertising placements on comparison pages, category hubs, and quiz results. Sponsored placements are visually distinct from organic results: they appear with a highlighted card and a Sponsored label so you always know which listings are paid.

How sponsorships work

  • Worldwide reach. DeployCue is a single worldwide English-language site, so placements reach builders everywhere who are comparing providers.
  • Managed placement. Placement positions are managed through a separate advertising arrangement, kept apart from editorial data.
  • Limited slots. We cap the number of sponsored placements per page so organic results remain prominent and discoverable.

Types of compensation

  • Cost-per-acquisition (CPA). A one-time payment when you sign up for a provider through our affiliate link.
  • Revenue share. A percentage of the provider's revenue generated by referred customers over a defined period.
  • Cost-per-click (CPC). A fixed payment per visitor who clicks through to the provider's website.
  • Flat sponsorship fee. A fixed periodic payment for a display advertising placement.
  • Hybrid models. A combination of the above, negotiated on a per-provider basis.

Compensation arrangements vary by provider. Not every provider listed on the site has a commercial relationship with us.

How we identify affiliate content

  • Footer disclosure. Every page on the site includes a notice that some links are affiliate links and that we may receive a commission.
  • Sponsored labels. Every sponsored provider card carries a visible Sponsored tag that distinguishes it from organic results.
