Our verdict
GlobexCamHost suits developers and small teams that want plain monthly compute in US regions without a wide location spread. VPS entry starts at $6 with 2TB, so entry cost is the draw and reach is the limit, and the catalogue stays inside US.

Pros and cons
Pros
- The entry plan is 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB SSD, a workable size for a first small server
- Support reaches you on phone, chat and email, not just email
- The catalogue covers vps and bare metal, so a larger dedicated host needs no provider switch
- Block storage is $0.015 per GB, with 1 TB transfer included per month on the $3/month ST 100 plan
Cons
- Location coverage is 3 locations, all in the United States
- The uptime commitment is 99.9%
Who it suits
- Teams whose users and workloads sit in the US
- Developers who only need a plain VPS plus some block storage
- Buyers who prefer one monthly invoice over metered usage
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone who needs a wide region spread, since coverage is 3 locations in the United States
- Workloads needing hourly metering, because billing is monthly only
- Shoppers wanting a deeper catalogue than vps and bare metal, who should weigh Aruba, UCloud or SberCloud instead
Core features
The entry VPS pairs 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB SSD with 2TB of transfer, a comfortable allowance for a starter machine. Servers sit in 3 locations, and the listed regions are US, so the footprint is confined to that market rather than spread across continents. That suits workloads whose users sit in the same market, and keeps latency steady.

Frequently asked questions
What does the cheapest GlobexCamHost VPS cost?+
The entry VPS costs $6 and comes with 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB SSD plus 2TB of bandwidth. That sits close to the site median entry price of €5.83, so it reads as a mainstream starting point rather than a bottom of market bargain.
How is GlobexCamHost billing structured?+
Billing runs monthly only. Hourly terms are not among its billing models (monthly), though monthly billing is common on the site at 90.8%, so a short test run still pays for a full cycle.
Where are GlobexCamHost servers located?+
There are 3 locations, and the listed regions are US. The site median for location count is 4, so this is a compact footprint: fine for domestic load and light multi-region testing, thin for global failover.
Does GlobexCamHost offer Windows servers?+
Yes, linux and windows are both available, so Windows workloads are covered as well as Linux. Support then includes phone, chat and email, which spans phone, chat, email and a help centre, so a stalled migration has more than one way to reach help.
How much is block storage at GlobexCamHost?+
Block storage runs $0.015 per GB per month, with block as the storage type on offer. The site median for price per GB per month is €0.01, so the rate sits close to the middle of the market.
Is there a free transfer allowance with GlobexCamHost storage?+
There is, and it is tied to one plan: 1 TB transfer included per month on the $3/month ST 100 plan. For comparison, the site median egress price per GB is €0, so the included allowance is worth more than paying a typical per-GB rate.
Can I get bare metal servers from GlobexCamHost?+
Yes, the catalogue covers vps and bare metal, so bare metal servers sit alongside VPS hosting on the same account. That makes a move up to dedicated hardware straightforward, and linux and windows are both offered if the dedicated server needs Windows rather than Linux.
