Our verdict
VNPT Cloud suits teams serving users in Vietnam, pairing a VPS catalogue billed monthly with an entry plan at VND 125,000. Unlimited bandwidth and a free Kubernetes control plane round out a broad catalogue, while 3 locations and charged data retrieval keep it narrow outside its home market.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Servers come with Unlimited bandwidth, 300 Mbps network, so transfers off a VPS are not held to a data allowance.
- The Kubernetes control plane is free, worker nodes start at VND 498,400 and clusters run to 100 nodes.
- Audited against ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 20000 1:2018, with a committed uptime of 99.99%.
- Object storage at VND 900 per month, GPU capacity billed hourly, and 120 hours free trial on 10+ cloud services for new accounts.
Cons
- Retrieving stored data is charged per data volume (None published; data retrieval is charged per data volume), and Charged on data transferred at public rates; no API call fee sets the rate for data transferred out.
- Coverage is 3 data centres, all in Vietnam, so nothing sits near users in other markets.
- Compute bills monthly only, so a short test server cannot be metered by the hour the way GPU capacity is.
Ready to try VNPT Cloud?
Scored 8.8 / 10 by DeployCue.
Who it suits
- Teams that need Vietnamese data residency, since every region listed is in Vietnam.
- Developers running Kubernetes who would rather avoid a control plane fee, because only nodes cost from VND 498,400.
- Teams moving existing bucket workflows across, since the object storage is S3-compatible.
Who should look elsewhere
- Buyers chasing the lowest entry price on the board: the entry plan here is VND 125,000, against €1.99 for Aruba and $5.34 for UCloud.
- Workloads that want hourly or reserved billing, since compute is monthly and a short test server costs a full period.
- Multi-region deployments, where 3 locations inside VN offer no failover across markets.

Frequently asked questions
How much is the entry VPS plan?+
The entry plan is listed at VND 125,000 and billed on monthly terms, so the figure is the recurring price rather than a one-off. The instance is small: a single vCPU, modest memory, SSD disk, a public IP address and the link described in Unlimited bandwidth, 300 Mbps network.
Is bandwidth capped or billed on cloud servers?+
Server plans do not meter traffic. The cloud server catalogue includes Unlimited bandwidth, 300 Mbps network, so moving data from a VPS adds no separate line item. Object storage behaves differently, and that is where transfer charges appear.
What does it cost to get data out of object storage?+
Retrieval is charged per data volume: None published; data retrieval is charged per data volume. Transfers run at public rates and no API call fee is added, as Charged on data transferred at public rates; no API call fee sets out. The storage itself sits at VND 900 per month.
What does the managed Kubernetes service cost?+
The control plane is free, so you pay only for worker nodes, from VND 498,400, and clusters scale to 100 nodes. GPU capacity is billed hourly on the separate GPU service, where NVIDIA Tesla T4, NVIDIA A30 and NVIDIA A100 sets out the full range.
Where are the data centres?+
Every listed region is in Vietnam, VN, across 3 data centres in total. No region outside the country appears in the listing, so workloads that must sit near users in other markets will look further afield.
Is there a free trial for new accounts?+
Yes, new accounts can start with 120 hours free trial on 10+ cloud services before committing to a paid plan. The free Kubernetes control plane removes the fixed cluster fee as well, so a small cluster costs nodes only.
Which certifications and uptime commitments apply?+
The catalogue is audited against ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 20000 1:2018, covering information security and payment card handling. Uptime is committed at 99.99% under the service quality terms, and support runs on phone, email and help centre.
How do you reach support?+
Support runs on phone, email and help centre, so phone, email and a help centre are all available. Live chat is not among the listed channels, which puts urgent issues on the phone line or email.
