What is Egress fee?

In short

A separate charge for outbound data, on top of the price of the instance or plan that produced it.

An egress fee is billed on top of compute, and it is what turns a cheap workload expensive once traffic leaves the region. Several providers fold it into the plan instead. Aleph Cloud includes unlimited egress, AceCloud charges nothing for data transfer and gives unmetered bandwidth, and AutoDL has no separate charge for instance bandwidth or traffic. Aethir states there are no hidden bandwidth fees. Atlantic.Net takes a different shape: inbound is unlimited, a free outbound allowance is included, and a set price applies to each additional gigabyte. Judge both the per-GB rate and the included allowance.
