A founding year says how long a provider has been operating. Age cuts both ways: an older company has survived more market cycles and typically runs its own network and support organisation, while a younger one may be moving faster and building on rented infrastructure. 21Vianet is the long-established name in this group at 1996. The newer operators are 2016 for 3v-Hosting, 2017 for A1 Digital and 2023 for 01.AI (Yi), with 1Gbits at 2014. Check a young provider's parent or funding record if uptime is critical.
