What is Free requests?
In short
The number of API calls a provider absorbs each month before per-request billing starts.
Free requests are the calls a provider absorbs each month before charging for them, and they matter most for bursty or hobby traffic. Serverless platforms and RPC endpoints both publish this allowance, and it resets monthly. Amazon Web Services includes 1,000,000 free requests a month, and Ankr includes 1,000,000. A generous allowance can carry a small production service on its own, while a small one pushes you into metered pricing sooner than most teams expect.
