What is Input price from?
In short
The rate a provider charges for the tokens you send a model, quoted for a standard block of input tokens.
Input tokens are the words and code you send a model, and providers bill them apart from what the model writes back. Input price is the entry rate on that reading, quoted for a standard block of input tokens, so the cheapest headline number rarely describes the model you will actually call. Anthropic's rate is $1 to $10, AI21 Labs charges $0.20, and Amazon Web Services lists $0.04. Wide spreads mean model tier matters more than the provider name on the label.
