What is Legal entity?
In short
The registered company that stands behind a provider's service, usually taken from its imprint or company register.
A legal entity is the company that is actually registered and responsible for a service. It matters because contracts, invoices, data protection claims and liability all sit with that company, not with the product name on the pricing page. 3v-Hosting is the odd one out here: FOP "Bondarenko Oksana Vladimirovna" lists an individual proprietor rather than a corporation. The other providers sit under corporate entities, including Beijing VNET Broadband Data Center Co., Ltd., A1 Digital International GmbH & Co KG and Real Time Data Services. A European subscriber can usually check the entity name against a public register before signing a longer contract.
