What is Minimum storage period?
In short
A minimum storage period is the shortest time an object storage vendor keeps your data before you can delete it, and the charge is built around it.
A minimum storage period is the shortest span a storage vendor keeps each stored object before it can be removed, and bills are usually calculated as if every object stayed for at least that long. Deleting earlier does not refund the difference. AceCloud sets a minimum storage period of 30 to 180, while Amazon lists 30. A short minimum suits workloads that churn, such as caches, temporary files and build artefacts, because early removals stop counting as full periods. A longer minimum suits archives and backups that are written once and then left alone.
