What is Price per GB-second?

In short

A price per GB-second is the unit cost a serverless function provider charges for each gigabyte of memory it holds for each second it runs.

A price per GB-second is the unit cost of serverless compute, combining how long a function runs with how much memory it is allocated for that time, so two invocations of the same script can cost different amounts. Alibaba Cloud Function Compute lists $0.0000021 to $0.000003, while Amazon Lambda lists $0.000000017. Memory weight is the part teams miss: a function held on several gigabytes for a long request can cost more than a larger function that returns quickly.
