What is Storage price?
In short
A storage price is the cost of keeping a gigabyte of data at rest, usually quoted per month and separate from the cost of reading it back.
A storage price is the cost of holding data at rest, quoted per unit of space and usually per month, and it sits apart from the cost of queries, indexes or requests. Algolia lists $0.40, Chroma lists $0.33, Crunchy Bridge lists $0.10 and Cloudflare lists $0.015. Flightcontrol lists $12 for the same unit, which sits well above the others. For an embedding index that grows with every document you ingest, this figure grows with the corpus and is usually the line that decides the bill.
